Job Description
The Taphouse at Center Harbor is a new 2 floor restaurant with 150 seats with an attached 100 seat beer garden in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, bringing relaxing vibes with views of Lake Winnipesaukee.

Serving inspired comfort food that will be sure to please locals and vacationers alike. The Taphouse is in a historic building, a building that hosted President Grant, Grover Cleveland & Mary Todd Lincoln, creating a cozy and warm environment to bring the whole family. with several unique rooms that are perfect intimate dining or private bookings. Featuring two full bars creating separate atmospheres that appeal to a wide range of guests. Attached is a Biergarten by Notch Brewing out of Salem MA, with 100 seats and featured draft list from an established brewery. The beer garden will feature live music on the weekends and a family / dog friendly space that is a local meeting space and vacationers destination.

The Taphouse is brought to you by Sam Schwartz who specializes in craft beer and has worked in Hospitality for over 20 years, including 10 years in the Boston restaurant scene. Most recently, Sam worked as a General Manager for the Neighborhood Restaurant Group and was integral in opening the Grand Delancey, a world- famous craft beer bar in Manhattan's Lower East Side. From there, he transitioned into a director-level position opening Brewery Saint X, a lager-focused brewery in Downtown New Orleans, then leading several reopening of restaurants that had closed due to Covid.

Having roots in the Massachusetts craft beer industry, Sam was influential in hosting world-renown events such as Cantillon's Zwanze Day. He is bringing his operational expertise and passion for hospitality and service, where he hopes to create a welcoming space for casual drinkers and connoisseurs alike.
To complement the Front of House program, We are looking for a head chef that is willing to focus on inspired comfort food and quality execution. In what will be a high volume environment.

We will be offering a competitive pay & health care contribution. We can assist in finding housing if a move is necessary.

We are hiring for all FOH and BOH positions with flexible start dates. No Experience necessary.
